Cultivation Medium

Our grow medium is the primary ecosphere of microbial activity and the heart of our production; it is certified by a third party for use in organic production and bears the good quality soil mark. We use a blend of organic soilless components (coco and various peat mosses) and composted and fermented amenities to create the ideal balance of moisture, oxygen, and microbial activity.

IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Program

We follow processes that use all-organic and biological control methods. This includes the use of horticulture oils, plant derived concentrates, and beneficial bacteria and fungus to control, outcompete, and eliminate pest and plant pathogens.

Certifications of Our Inputs

OMRI

The Organic Materials Review Institute is an international non-profit organization that determines which contributions are permitted for use in organic production and processing. OMRI's staff is managed by a council of directors, which is widely representative of the organic industry: assessors, farmers, supplies, processors, traders, consumers' organizations, and animal and environmental protection groups. Products from the OMRI list are suitable for use in foodstuff processing and organic production.

NOP

The National Organic Program (NOP) is a regulatory program housed within the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. They are responsible for developing national standards for organically-produced agricultural products. These standards assure consumers that products with the USDA organic seal meet consistent, uniform standards.

Control Union

The Control Union is an international organization for organic production inspection and certification throughout the world at a global level. This organization guarantees that certified products do not contain any chemical fertilizers or pesticides, chemicals or synthetic flavors, colors or preservatives, or organisms genetically modified (OGM).

CDFA

The California Department of Food and Agriculture is a California-based registry that verifies compliance with the NOP.

Pro-Cert

Pro-Cert provides professional third party certification to producers, processors, handlers and traders of organic products across North America. Pro-Cert's knowledgeable staff includes food scientists, agrologists, biologists and animal scientists, which makes their inspection and evaluation team unmatched in the industry. Pro-Cert verifies no synthetic pesticides, no synthetic preservatives, no chemical fertilizers, no hormones or antibiotics, no genetically modified organisms (GMOs), humane treatment of animals, and preservation of ecological integrity.

All of our cultivation inputs are allowed for organic crop production, and we are currently seeking third party certification. Contact us now to inquire about our products and services.
